How can I access free audiobooks on Spotify?
The latest Spotify update gives users access to a full library of audiobooks. The feature is available to both standard and Premium users, however, there are limits on how much content you can stream. Users with a standard (free) Spotify account will have to purchase audiobooks, however, Premium users will get 15 hours of free audiobooks per month. Once you’ve used your 15 hours you’ll have the option to purchase an extra 10 hours for £9.99 or to purchase the audiobook outright.
This is a great option to those who are already paying for a Spotify Premium account (which, let’s face it most people who have a Spotify account are). There are more than 300,000 audiobooks now on Spotify and 150,000 of these are available are part of your free 15-hour allowance.
Just like music you can add audiobooks to your library and download them so you can listen offline, and you can easily select which chapter you’d like to listen to as well as adjusting the speed and pace of the audio.
